According to Morse, the "conspirators" are, from left to right, Charles Ellis, Marcel Duchamp, Gertrude Drick, Allen Mann, Betty Turner, and John Sloan. The Arch is the Washington Square Arch, at the beginning of Fifth Avenue in New York's Greenwich Village.
