addition to the Edition of 20 printed in red and black; there were also
20 printed in black, 20 in blue and black, and 20 in yellow and black.
Signed, dated and inscribed "Artist's Proof," all in pencil. 9 3/4 x 14
inches, 248 x 356 mm (block), plus margins. In exccellent condition.
Provenance: Donald Morris Gallery, Detroit; London Arts Group,
Collection of Donald A. Sellers, Detroit, MI; included in an exhibition
titled "Milton Avery Woodcuts, 1952-1955" at the Saginaw Art Museum in
1984, and also with labels on the frame implying exhibition at Midland
Arts Council, Midlands, MI., and Findlay College, Findlay, OH.
