Sharp was
born in Austria and emigrated to the U.S. in 1934. He worked as a
courtoom artist and was also on the staff of Esquire magazine. He did
illustrations for Life Magazine, Colliers, and The New York Times
Magazine, and also illustrated a number of books. Though much of his
work was commerical, he continued to produce fine art prints.
