A brilliant impression trimmed on or just inside the platemark all round. The tip of the lower left plate margin reinforced, otherwise in excellent condition. 300 x 210mm.
Matham was Goltzius' step-son, and one of his best interpretors. His engraving skills give a brilliant surface to Goltzius' Mannerist style.
